At Los Alamos Community Ceramics, we value getting kids involved and exposed to ceramic arts. Minors are welcome in our open  studio program with guardians. Teachers set age limits for their classes and workshops but are encouraged to go as low as they think a child capable. We have summer youth clay camps and family targeted workshops. 

Creating with your hands forces you to slow down and focus, learn to be ok with mistakes, and challenges your brain with problem-solving, hand-eye coordination and spatial thinking.
