We can't wait to welcome you into our growing community of ceramic artists. Becoming a member means joining a studio where everyone keeps our space creative, clean, and safe. Users contribute a small volunteer task each month, and we all take responsibility for cleaning up our own workspace. There are no paid staff-- only volunteers! 

To ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone, studio users should be able to work independently. Recent instruction in basic ceramics and glazing—or equivalent studio experience—is required.

Once you join our community, you are always a part of it and are welcome to our members-only benefits even if you aren't an active studio user.

There is a one-time joining fee that supports the future of our community. 

Once you’re a member, you may use the studio at current session rates. Even when you’re not actively using the studio, you remain part of our community and are always welcome at social and continuing education events.

To support access to ceramics for all, there are three joining fee options:

$150 for individuals >18 yrs;

$100 per additional family member >18 yrs that meets eligibility requirements;

$75 for postdocs and college students
